Was it dark enough for you? Perhaps not, if you are in the UK. I had anticipated cloud but was very pleased that skies were clear. We watched it unfold live, with AirPlay from my MacBook to the AppleTV, and then outside with Marlene wearing 3 pairs of sunglasses! Such fun!
My SeeStar S30 was on a tripod, with a battery pack, at the front of the house, and configured for a 2 hour time-lapse video, with 2 second images. The result, at 1 minute 46 seconds, is OK actually!
The ‘wobble’ is probably due to it being a time-lapse whilst automatically centre-tracking the Sun. The strange lines that appear several times, are most likely the BT lines across our street, through which the SeeStar was tracking the Sun’s transit.
